As a newer company, Deep Sentinel currently offers just one package. However, options are available for accessories as desired or needed by the homeowner. For instance, you can get additional cameras for $150 apiece, a wifi range extender for $30, a solar charger and USB plus extreme temperature battery kit for $88, an extra standard battery for $29 and a USB plus extreme temperature extra battery for $59 apiece.
Standard package pricing is as follows:
Contracts and Warranty
Deep Sentinel has a one-year contract minimum. After that first year the contract goes month to month. If the homeowner decides to cancel before the first year is out, they’d still be responsible for paying the balance of the 12 months. Moving the system is an option if the homeowner moves during the contract period. The equipment itself is warrantied for two years.
Deep Sentinel’s mission is to be proactive, not reactive. With a variety of motion sensors and cameras in place around the perimeter of a home, an active alarm siren warning system and 24/7 live human monitoring, potential intruders are deterred before they even get started. In other words, Deep Sentinel’s monitoring system doesn’t wait until a break-in occurs. The live human monitoring ensures that would-be intruders are warned as soon as they step foot near the homeowner’s door. Their self-named “active intervention” service by real humans allows the guard to speak directly to the would-be intruder, identifying them directly and warning them that the police are en route.
With “real human guards” watching the cameras 24/7, that’s a level of security that is sure to prevent most burglars from following through on their ill-conceived intentions. Deep Sentinel’s security and monitoring service helps prevent vehicle tampering, vandalism, trespassing, package thefts, loitering and home invasions.
One of the great benefits of Deep Sentinel is that no false alarms is guaranteed. Since the cameras are monitored 24/7 by live, trained personnel, they can tell if the person attempting to enter the home is a resident, family member or other approved person. They can also tell if the alarm has been triggered by a harmless person or animal, such as a child retrieving their ball, a stray dog or a curious critter.
The package can be self-installed, but professional installation service is available for an additional fee. After the system has been installed, the homeowner simply calls in to activate the system. Once monitoring has been activated, Deep Sentinel promises to respond within 30 seconds to:
Note that system minimums are needed in order for Deep Sentinel to operate. Internet speed in the home must be at least a 5 Mbps upload speed. Wireless connectivity must also be in place.
Mobile App Support
There is currently no mobile app to run in order to use Deep Sentinel. However, homeowners can call customer service 24/7 straight from the company’s website. Since the system is monitored by a real human 24/7, there’s really no need for a mobile app. The homeowner can simply install the system and sit back, knowing that their property is being protected around the clock.
As stated, customer support is just a phone call or a click away, via the company website. They also operate a website chat, but it’s a chat bot, useful for commonly asked questions. The chat bot is mainly there for pre-sales questions, not current customer support.
Deep Sentinel is relatively new to the home security space. But with such well-respected and experienced individuals behind the concept, it’s already built a solid reputation as a reliable home security company. If you’re looking for a live human monitoring system that also incorporates the use of artificial intelligence – one that’s based on proactive security rather than reactive security—then Deep Sentinel is definitely worth considering.
