ADT offers five home security service levels. Each can be customized to fit the customer’s needs. Select service levels include a product warranty—if any of the equipment must be repaired or replaced, there is no charge for parts or labor.

Home Security Service Levels

Traditional Basic:

The Traditional Basic service level is designed to provide essential security features. Customers receive intrusion detection, as well as 24/7 fire, carbon monoxide, and flood monitoring.

The monthly service price for Traditional Basic starts at $28.99.

Secure:

The Secure service level includes all of the features of the Traditional Basic level plus access to the ADT Command Touchscreen Panel. The panel is a customer’s security hub: it features built-in voice command, cellular communication, and two-way voice.

The monthly service price for the Secure service level starts at $45.99.

Control:

Control is ADT’s version of smart home security technology. The Control service level includes all of the features listed in the Secure plus added smart features. Customers can implement voice control with Amazon Alexa and Google Home, integrate their ADT 24/7 professional monitoring system with Alexa Guard, and access the ADT Mobile App to remotely arm/disarm the system and receive security alerts. The package also includes Smart Home Automation capabilities: alerts and geo-services; custom device scenes and scheduling; and remote control of lights, locks, thermostats, and more.

The monthly service price for the Control service level starts at $49.99.

Video:

For the customer interested in video surveillance, the Video service level covers the basics. The Video service level includes all of the features of the Secure service level plus video monitoring. Video includes up to eight motion-activated video cameras that can alert the user, video playback, and video storage.

Complete:

Complete is, quite literally, the complete package. Complete includes every feature of Video, with the addition of Smart Home Automation capabilities.

Security & Monitoring Services

ADT offers several security services including home security systems, smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, flood sensors, smart home automation, security options for renters and multifamily structures, and an emergency panic button.

All equipment is professionally installed.

ADT’s 24/7 professional monitoring service is a key aspect of each of the company’s home security products. As part of ADT’s security service, a home security professional monitors a customer’s home system around the clock. If there is any activity that triggers a sensor such as an intrusion or carbon monoxide detection, the monitoring center is immediately notified. The ADT professional will then contact the appropriate emergency personnel, who will then be dispatched to the home (if necessary).

Mobile App & Smart Home Features

The ADT Smart Home Security System works with the mobile app, providing remote access to locks, lights, garage doors, thermostats, security cameras, and the security system itself. Customers have full control of all appliances connected to the system whether they are across the room, town, or country. There’s also an option to connect to smart home platforms such as Google Home, Amazon Alexa, and others.

All customers have access to 24/7 support for any issues that cannot be answered on the website, or if they simply prefer speaking with a security professional over the phone.
